The VP, Enterprise Applications and IT will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide technology and applications management transformation, building best in class business intelligence via data analytics and insights, and establishing best-in class data governance and ecosystem. This leader will have overall responsibility for all aspects of enterprise business applications, and internal data governance and data science. The leader will lead a team that partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define, drive, and deliver scaled solutions that enable our growth and transformation.
The VP, Enterprise Applications and IT will oversee the development, implementation, and management of business intelligence strategies and initiatives within the organization direct the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business. These strategies and solutions will improve data, systems, service quality and customer satisfaction, while enabling business growth and development.This leader will drive the design and implementation of a best-in-class data ecosystem that relies on governed, high quality, single source of truth data to enable data analytics capabilities and insights across the organization.
How you'll add value:
Lead the data science and business insights team, the information technology (IT) team, and the enterprise applications teams to build, drive, and deliver best in class development, implementation, and management of business-aligned strategies and outcomes.
Evaluate business requirements in the early stages of system and business intelligence tools and applications selections to determine what workflow, integration technologies, system architectures, and configurations should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand ways in which technology will support their business needs and existing processes and integrate those needs into technology roadmaps as appropriate.
Prioritize and accelerate critical enterprise application and data governance activities to enhance company decision-making and execution through fact-based insights and intelligence, data science and data-driven analytics.
Develop and implement advanced technology including AI and self-service architecture of technology that provide data accuracy, availability, and frictionless experiences for customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
Manage the Enterprise Applications and Business Insights project portfolio, prioritizing work for the team based on new business needs and activities.
Drive the delivery of solutions, providing leadership and guidance to developers, project teams, and stakeholders.
Evaluate new technologies, including cost vs. benefit, and determine best practices for implementation.
Advocate maintaining and improving standard operating procedures, best practices, and quality of service.
Establish and implement a best-in-class data governance practice focused on data policy, process and standards.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equally relevant degree. MS degree a plus.
15+ years of experience developing, enabling, and implementing enterprise systems, data & analytics and data science and analytics, and data governance strategies.
This experience should include time helping a SAAS company scale up to a significant size ($200M+ revenue).
Experience leading this function in an at-scale environment at a public or public-ready SAAS company.
Experience leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives and programs for senior leadership .
Understanding and working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements.
Strategic leader with experience leading change and delivering high quality results.
Ability to drive decisions, influence others to support these decisions, and maintain trust and credibility.
Excellent communications and presentation skills. Able to communicate sophisticated technical issues effectively and concisely to executives.
High professional standards and expectations for self and others.
Experience owning a P&L and owning a balanced budget, making tradeoff decisions to maximize and optimize spending decisions.
Professional stature and gravitas to collaborate with and influence executives, leaders and team members with credibility and confidence.
Occasional travel may be required.
R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
This position has a salary range of $225K-$280K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices.
