Our Automation PMO team is growing to support key strategic initiatives, leveraging data-backed insights to improve automation efforts. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with experience in AI/ML-driven automation to join Twilio’s Automation PMO team. In this role, you will help drive critical automation projects and support the development of AI-powered solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Technical Program Managers serve highly integrated and cross-functional product and engineering organizations, taking programs from concept to delivery by leveraging best practices to ensure predictable and timely execution. You will partner and collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, AI/ML Research, Operations, Support, and Legal to create cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance customer interactions and make Twilio products even more intuitive and effective.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will support the execution of automation programs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, AI/ML Research, Operations, and Support. You will help define project objectives, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Support the execution of AI/ML-driven automation initiatives, working closely with product and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, AI/ML Research, Operations, Support, and Legal—to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements.
Drive the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions, such as chatbots and intelligent automation workflows, to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Develop and execute program roadmaps and tracking milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the broader AI/automation strategy.
Monitor dependencies and risks, escalating issues as needed to keep leadership informed and aligned on key decisions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine automation initiatives and drive business impact.

*Required:
2+ years of experience in technical program management, supporting cross-functional technology projects.
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven automation strategies, such as natural language processing (NLP), chatbots, or machine learning applications.
Experience working on AI/ML projects, including coordinating between teams on model training, deployment, or monitoring.
Understanding of automation frameworks, intelligent chatbots, and AI-powered workflow optimization.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across engineering, product, and operations teams.
Ability to support multiple initiatives and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
Desired:
PMP, PgMP, or another relevant program management certification.
Experience in a fast-paced operations or PMO team within a software or AI-focused company.
Familiarity with AI/ML compliance, ethical considerations, and responsible AI principles.
Location
This role will be remote, and based in Colombia.
