Supply Planner Lead

As a Global Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in optimizing our diverse portfolio of brands. You will collaborate closely with our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Amazon (AMZ) teams to develop strategies that exceed our goals. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and proficient in swiftly analyzing issues to provide effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Efforts:
Partner with sales, marketing, product, procurement, and operations teams to gather essential information on promotions, new product launches, and other demand drivers.
Demand Forecasting:
Develop detailed demand plans based on sales forecasts and customer requirements.
Innovation and Improvement:
Actively seek out opportunities to enhance existing business practices.
Propose and implement improvements, deliver projects, and cultivate the skills needed for high-level performance.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Utilize data from multiple sources to analyze key trends, market demands, customer preferences, and sales data.
Conduct demand consensus reviews and adjust forecasts to improve accuracy.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor actual sales against forecasted demand, generate regular reports to assess forecast accuracy, and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain KPI metrics/scorecards, including fill rates and production schedule adherence.
Risk Mitigation:
Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact supply chain efficiency and product availability.
Hands-On Logistics:
Flexibly assist the warehouse team as needed, whether coordinating freight transportation, leading the team, or packing orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Analytical Expertise: Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decisions, including understanding statistical models and identifying trends.
Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capability to manage upwards and challenge sales leaders on their forecasts.
Commitment to Learning: Dedication to continuous improvement and process optimization.
Forward-Thinking: Skill in anticipating and addressing potential supply chain issues proactively.
Adaptability: Versatility in adapting to changing business circumstances and devising innovative solutions.
Availability: Willingness to occasionally work off-hours to liaise with teams in China.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Demand Planning in Netsuite or Oracle ERP systems. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
