Strategic Operations Manager / Sr. Associate
The Strategic Operations team’s mission is to help DevRev grow and scale efficiently by designing the best possible operations ‘machinery’ of the company as early as possible. In many ways, this team is in service of DevRev teams and employees who are delivering the best products and services for our customers - product, engineering, sales, marketing, and support.
Great operations design and delivery makes the difference between a mediocre “this is how it has always been done” and a more elegant, scalable and flexible solution that evolves with DevRev. Members of the Strategic Operations team are expected to take on operational areas and own them end-to-end, driving them to excellence! The day-to-day specifics of members of our team vary, but typically involve a hybrid of operational, strategic, analytical and technical skills. We dive deep into DevRev's needs, people, processes, data and systems, identifying where large operation design (or redesigns) may be required and where small operational efficiencies, automations and tools can buy us ‘inches’. We are expected to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across DevRev to deliver measurable results.
Examples of operational areas that could serve as project focus areas could include:
Corporate Strategy: Align strategic initiatives for cohesive, cross-departmental growth
Outbound Sales: Optimize sales processes to unlock high-value market opportunities
Inbound Marketing: Develop data-driven strategies to attract and convert quality leads
Scalable Deal Structuring: Standardize workflows to accelerate and streamline negotiations
Upsell & Churn Mitigation: Identify upsell opportunities while effectively reducing churn
Strategic Operations Manager / Senior Associate: We are seeking a candidate with 3+ years of experience (ideally from management consulting, investment banking, or strategic roles in tech/high-growth startups) to drive impactful changes across our organization.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose existing processes across various teams to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Lead projects from problem identification through to execution of scalable solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, marketing, sales, and finance—to ensure seamless implementation of strategic initiatives
Leverage data analytics and financial analysis to guide decision-making and track key performance metrics
Develop clear documentation and effectively communicate recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements:
3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a strategic role at a tech company or high-growth startup
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive process improvements and operational success
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable with financial analysis and managing multiple projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus
