We are looking for a Strategic Communications Manager to lead cross-functional communications initiatives, both strategy and execution, manage events and handle company messaging and press releases. You will be working cross functionally to align communications with enterprise-wide initiatives, build beneficial relationships with reporters and shape a positive perception of Grow Therapy among external stakeholders. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Communications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communications campaigns using paid, earned, shared and owned media to shape brand perception across multiple audiences (consumers, healthcare payors, employers, brokers/consultants, mental health advocates)
Define, execute and measure impact of communications tactics
Maintain relationships with key media targets; insert the brand into relevant stories and social media conversations
Manage conferences, industry awards, bespoke events and speaking engagements
Develop messaging that generates positive perceptions toward Grow
Draft, write, edit communications intended for external audiences including press releases, Q&As, reactive press statements, talking points, speeches and backgrounders
Ensure all external communications are high quality, accurate and consistent
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 USD.
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
If you have a minimum of 5 years of strategic or corporate communications experience
A background in healthcare and existing relationships with healthcare media is highly preferred
Storytelling skills and an ability to craft compelling and relevant narratives tailored for a healthcare audience
Experience managing direct reports and scaling a team
