We are looking for a passionate and skilled research operations professional to join our design team. In this role, you will partner closely with designers, product managers, engineering and marketing to maintain a high-quality research process and support teams conducting research in order to shape the future of our offering and deliver a high-quality product to our clients.
About the Role
You will be responsible for enabling all teams to conduct user experience research, access client insights, and evolve our ongoing programs to keep the company close to clients.
You have experience turning qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and building programs and processes to make it easier for everyone at Wealthsimple to keep our clients at the heart of their decision-making.
In this role, you will:
Optimize and scale the process of conducting user experience research with clients on a regular basis.
Own the relationship with vendors, update and develop documentation on research process and best practices, scheduling processes, and compensating clients.
Collaborate with design, product management, data science, marketing, and business stakeholders to understand, support, and execute on tactical and strategic research across multiple projects.
Coach and mentor teams in research methodologies, analysis, and communication so teams feel empowered to conduct their own research, share their learnings, and collaborate across different teams to increase data-informed decision making.
Maintain an Insights Library that is easily accessible by all employees and train teams on how to contribute and use it effectively.
Learn about and advocate for diverse audiences, understanding their financial mindset and behaviours - across all phases of the client lifecycle and their financial product usage.
Skills we are looking for:
5+ years experience in research operations or user experience research
Mixed methods research experience: proven ability to identify the right methods to conduct effective research to discover and develop strategic product opportunities and drive business outcomes
Proficiency in research, design, and product analytic tools: Dovetail, Maze, Figma, Mixpanel etc.
Ability to build relationships and influence others while also being able to roll-up your sleeves to do analysis, build processes, etc.
Great analytical and prioritization skills. Knowing how to balance what needs to be done with whatโs possible to do.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable research practices
