This position is needed to craft and deliver on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Twilio’s User Authentication and Identity product portfolio.
Twilio is looking for a Product Manager to join the User Authentication and Identity product team of our Communications business unit. You will understand the needs of our customers for user verification/authentication and build products that solve that need at global scale. Working side by side with other product managers and engineering counterparts, you will collaborate to craft and deliver on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for authentication and identity veri
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Be the voice of the customer in every conversation and decision, and ensure we build world class products that our customers love and value.
Own the product strategy, roadmap, and release cadence for both zero-to-one products and expanding the value of existing products.
Support your engineering team in delivering quality features efficiently, and your global go-to-market team in selling them.
Get your hands dirty, align executives, convince peers, and coordinate dependencies to get-it-done.
Seek out unique points of view to deliver products that reflect the global population and make communication more inclusive for all.

Required:
Minimum of 4+ years of Product Management or related experience building customer-facing cloud products for businesses or developers.
Experience building products/services related to consumer authentication and identity management.
Experience working in an agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams and customers, occasionally working non-standard hours.
Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required.
Desired:
Experience working with direct sales, marketing, and defining pricing/packaging.
Experience building products/services related to APIs, identity verification, access management, fraud, billing, messaging, or telecom.
Founder or early-stage startup experience.

This role is remote in the US and Canada but is not eligible to be hired in California, Connecticut, Pensilvania, New York, New Jersey or Washington State; or outside of the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Based in Colorado or Washington D.C. : $149,440.00 - $186,800.00 USD
Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $158,240.00 - $197,800.00.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $175,840.00 - $219,800.00 USD.
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
