Staff Fullstack Engineer - Fondue
The Fondue team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line at Postscript.
Fondue increases profitability and turns promotions into relationships for ecommerce merchants. We are doing so by replacing coupon codes with a more profitable alternative: brand-embedded CashBack.
We are looking for a motivated fullstack software engineer with an interest in designing systems at scale in a microservices environment to join our growing team. The end result will be participating in the development of what will ultimately be the most performant and feature-rich Cashback offering in the industry.
Primary duties
Our future Staff Fullstack Engineer will design and implement microservices in Typescript using Node.js backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment. They will also implement Experience with modern SDLC including Agile methodologies is helpful, as well as a penchant for building systems that scale and are flexible enough to accommodate an ever-evolving business strategy.
*This is a fully remote position that will be working across a global team. EST hours will be highly preferred, and ability to work early morning hours.*
What We’ll Love About You
Minimum 8-10 years professional software development experience, at least 3 years of which is in Typescript (Node.js)
Experienced in engineering Saas products on a cloud platform (3+ years)
Experience with NoSQL databases a plus
EST time zone based
An independent, highly communicative engineer, driven by new technology to serve users needs perfectly
Passionate about impact at scale and who gets things done
Past leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership position
A problem solver at heart: motivated and with a can do attitude
Passionate having business impact through technology, writing clean code, and testing
A true team player with great communication skills
You love our tech stack (or hate it and have the passion to convince us otherwise)
Past experience in ecommerce and/or payments (optional)
Experience leading projects and delivering end to end successfully
