Staff Data Scientist
Who’s a Fit:
Experience: 5+ years in industry Data Science and Machine Learning with an emphasis on deployed prediction applications in the consumer space (churn, fraud, etc.)

As we take on more customers and unique challenges, we are looking for a Staff Data Scientist who can help optimize performance of our deployed product models. Come join a team of creative technical experts who collaborate with customers to ensure their success with OfferFit!
In the role you will:
Take a leading role in the optimization and troubleshooting of live Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML models driving OfferFit's marketing campaign use cases.
Analyze and improve OfferFit's Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML algorithms in collaboration with the Applied ML engineering team that develops our ML pipeline.
Create new custom diagnostic tests and analyses to support OfferFit's Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML algorithms.
Technical Landscape:
OfferFit is creating a GUI based, customizable -ML platform
ML Approaches: Contextual Bandits, Causal ML, Gradient Boosting
Data Science/Back End: Python (Pandas, Sklearn), Gradient Boosting (Catboost, XGBoost, Lightgbm), SHAP, SQL (GBQ)
Architecture/DevOps: Airflow, GCP

Additional Requirements:
Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
Up to 10-15% travel for company-wide quarterly gatherings, team offsite workshops, customer meetings, and industry-related events
