We are seeking a passionate Staff Backend Engineer to join our Data & Channel Management Team.
The team’s work is critical to the Brandwatch platform and works as part of the wider Data Ingestion Group to provide reliable access to high-quality data at scale that our clients rely on.

What you’ll do:
Work as part of an agile engineering team of 5 other engineers with clear team ownership over a set of critical platform services
Deliver elegant, scalable, self-testing, well-documented code
Continuously develop yourself, bring new ideas to the team and also learn from your colleagues
What you have:
Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
A thorough understanding of SQL databases.
Good understanding of containerization systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Kafka or similar technology.
Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud is a big plus
English language fluency
