We’re seeking a Senior Technical Writer to produce clear, crisp, and engaging technical documentation. In this role, you’ll work independently to create and maintain high-quality content that ensures a seamless user experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape the documentation strategy, refine processes, and keep content up to date while adhering to established standards and style guides. Key Responsibilities
With limited supervision, develop accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including administration guides, deployment guides, and release notes.
Contribute to maintaining documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency and quality in technical content.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers to gather information and ensure that documentation reflects product updates and functional changes.
Review and edit documentation for clarity, coherence, grammar, and adherence to standards. Incorporate feedback and provide actionable comments to peers.
Manage and maintain content repositories, ensuring all content is up-to-date and reflects the latest product features and updates.
Assist in refining content development processes to improve workflow efficiency and documentation delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or equivalent field experience.
5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably for software or complex technical products.
Proficient in using authoring tools, content management systems (CMS), and documentation tools (experience with DITA is required).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clarity and attention to detail.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and technical writing best practices.
Able to adapt to changing requirements and work autonomously with limited guidance.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
$105,000 - $135,000 + benefits
