Sr. Technical Program Manager - Compliance
This role is within the Engineering and Product (EP) Compliance Technical Program Management team which delivers critical and strategic technical compliance outcomes by directing and scaling engineering effort across organizational and functional boundaries. The right candidate for the Sr. Technical Program Manager, Compliance role will be an experienced technical lead for Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation initiatives who can strategize with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate effectively, and drive technical decision-making. This is a multi-faceted role in a data-driven environment so flexibility, technical skills, a strong work ethic, and strong communication are a must.
What you’ll do:
Manage Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) IT General Controls (ITGC) over engineering systems (Systems, Tools, and Monitoring Controls).
Ensure compliance with Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation standards by overseeing audits, maintaining documentation and implementing best practices.
Develop and execute risk assessments; design mitigation strategies and programs to address key risks. Work with business / process owners to develop effective processes, policies, controls, and metrics that ensure effective compliance with relevant standards, rules, and policies.
Partner with cross-functional business partners to understand control requirements and help with the design and implementation of these controls so that they are following a corporate standard (Common Controls Framework).
Influence and assist business / process owners to close gaps in their controls and adopt processes that will help the grow the business in a compliant manner.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience as a technical program manager supporting Compliance, Trust & Safety Programs, or related experience.
Extensive audit experience to effectively advise on control design, implementation, and documentation.
Solid technical expertise with the ability to quickly grasp technical designs, challenges, and risks. Experience in breaking down complex problems and facilitating decision-making.
Exceptional analytical skills, capable of creating and monitoring metrics, and proactively identifying growth opportunities and incidents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey nuanced and often technical concepts to internal stakeholders or external partners.
Ability to influence teams & drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, who can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up and thrive in ambiguity.
Demonstrated experience in creating and driving efficient processes at scale.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer and information technology, or equivalent experience.
