Sr. Systems Engineer - Intelligent Automation
Are you passionate about employee experience and designing impactful solutions for employees? Pinterest’s IT Employee Experience team is looking for a results-driven Intelligent Automation Systems Engineer. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, working closely with functional stakeholders and IT teams to identify, design, and implement intelligent automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, design innovative solutions, and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency, improve processes, and enhance the overall user experience through the application of low-code platforms, robotic process automation (RPA), and other automation technologies.
What you’ll do:
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with functional stakeholders leveraging your mix of technical strength, business strengths and ability to navigate across business areas to understand pain points, processes, and automation needs.
Opportunity Identification: Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, leveraging technologies like low-code platforms, robotic process automation (RPA), and artificial intelligence (AI).
Solution Design: Collaborate with IT teams (architecture, business systems, and engineering) to design and recommend effective low-code, bot, and automation solutions that align with business requirements and technical feasibility.
Implementation Support: Provide support during the implementation of automation solutions, including requirements gathering, testing, and user training.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of automation solutions, identify areas for optimization, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related field.
Proven ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven recommendations.
Strong understanding of automation concepts, including low-code platforms, RPA, AI, and ML.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
