Summary of Responsibility

The Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and aligning and innovating our products, offerings, and engineering technologies. This position is ideal for a hands-on person who can enable our engineering team to succeed and responsibly deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be one of the key engineers in our team located in Poland. Your role will involve not only hands-on development but also influencing aligning initiatives, delivering high-impact solutions and building robust solutions with high quality.

Hybrid / Remote - Anywhere within Krakow, Poland. B2B option for this role.

Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration, we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 11:00-20:00 CEST, with core working hours being 16:00-19:00 CEST

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Team Leadership: Drive alignment and collaboration across different engineering teams and geographical locations. Influence project direction and ensure synchronization of efforts towards common goals.

• Technical Mastery: Utilize your extensive knowledge in React.js, Node.js and Front-End Full-Stack development to lead by example. Innovate and implement advanced solutions in specialized areas of our technology stack. Hands-on experience in cloud computing (preferred experience in GCP) and Kubernetes (services like EKS, GKS).Having knowledge about DevOps, IaC and Security concepts will be an added advantage.

• Project Delivery: Commit to and consistently deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality.

• Influential Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers across teams to align all to deliver the business goals as per effective architecture and the right technical solution.

• Strategic Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative approaches. Leverage strong problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve issues effectively.

• Collaborative Excellence: Work seamlessly with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills.

Requirements:

• Strong tech. proficiency, architecture, and technology leadership skills are highly desirable (must have React.js and Node.js experience)

• Proven ability to influence and drive projects across different teams and locations.

• Demonstrated experience as a strong individual contributor with a track record of delivering results.

• Excellence in leading technical discussions and decision-making processes.

• Hands-on experience in handling cloud computing (ideal GCP, nice to have AWS).

• Hands-on experience in serverless architectures.

• Good understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps tools and concepts.

• Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
