About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior Program Manager to scale Grafana Labs’ AI-driven marketing initiatives. In this role, you will drive the strategy and execution of AI programs, enabling our marketing team to operate smarter and more efficiently. This is not a traditional program management role—this is your opportunity to shape the future of AI in demand generation. Responsibilities:
Strategic program leadership: Define and drive the strategy for AI-powered marketing initiatives, aligning them with broader business objectives and ensuring measurable outcomes.
Prompt architecture input/design: Collaborate with our Marketing Operations team and other cross-functional stakeholders to define scalable and effective prompt architecture and performance management, setting the foundation for future AI marketing efforts.
Prompt testing and data analysis: Design and iterate on prompt strategies for AI-driven campaigns, analyzing performance data, trends, and hallucinations to maximize results. Shape the structure, tone, and clarity of AI-generated outputs to align with audience needs, ensuring actionable deliverables.
Cross-functional collaboration: Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure AI tools and frameworks align with organizational goals.
Team enablement and mentoring: Train and mentor team members on AI tools and methodologies, fostering adoption and innovation across the marketing organization.
Innovation and thought leadership: Stay on the cutting edge of AI advancements and eagerly bring innovative ideas to elevate Grafana Labs’ demand generation strategies.
Requirements:
Proven program leadership: 5-7+ years of demand generation marketing experience and/or experience in a research-intensive, data-driven role. Must have experience with a project involving prompt engineering or a technical AI program, preferably in a marketing context.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills: Ability to align diverse teams and clearly articulate the value of AI-driven solutions to non-technical audiences.
Expertise in AI tools and prompt engineering: Proficient experience designing and optimizing prompts, with exposure to large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI, Gemini, or similar.
Technical proficiency: Proficiency in SQL querying and using JSON for formatting and structuring data or prompts.
High sense of urgency: Thrives in fast-paced environments, with the ability to prioritize and execute complex projects under tight deadlines.
Mentorship experience: Demonstrated ability to train and enable others, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
In the United States, the Base compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here. Compensation ranges are country specific.
