Sr. PR Manager - Brand Reputation
About You
Nutrafol is looking for an ambitious, strategic public relations professional to lead its brand reputation communications efforts. This role is built around proactively driving brand love and shaping public perception in the rapidly evolving earned media space, while also getting ahead of the conversations that impact our business on a daily basis.
The Senior PR Manager, Brand Reputation will be an integral part of the Nutrafol Brand Marketing team, partnering closely with the Director of PR & Communications, on the development of plans that drive our brand narrative and reinforce Nutrafol’s position with the experts who are driving discourse.
The role requires regular collaboration with key cross-functional partners (Brand, Social Media & Digital Reputation, Partnerships, Influencer, Professional Marketing and Clinical Affairs), in addition to working closely with company spokespersons, executive leadership and agency partners.
Responsibilities
Lead brand credibility programming and storytelling designed to enhance perceptions, increase favorability and safeguard against risks internally and externally
Oversee and evolve Nutrafol’s reputation communications process and reporting framework across platforms (e.g. social media, PR, online reviews, customer feedback and scientific journals)
Establish and maintain relationships with influential voices and organizations across traditional and non-traditional media, influencers, medical experts and trade associations
Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to run and mitigate reputational risks, and provide guidance and support during crisis situations
Track the cultural landscape, competitive environment and consumer trends to ensure that Nutrafol is positioned as an industry leader
Analyze and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in current work flow and regularly share updates with cross-functional partners to build upon and improve our processe
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of public relations and reputation management experience (in-house or agency) with a focus in health, wellness or consumer products
Strong written, editing, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate and tailor communications for a variety of audiences (e.g. consumer, influencer, medical community/healthcare provider)
Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
Proven track record of navigating and thriving in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
Team player mentality with the mindset that no task is too small
Passion for the health and wellness industry
