Senior Director Industry Advisory: The Public Sector Industry Advisor is responsible for leveraging deep industry expertise to guide the strategic and operational alignment of Icertis’s offerings for specific vertical market needs. This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying customer pain points, developing use cases enabling marketing collateral, evangelizing Icertis solution through marketing events, speaking engagements, and advising on product development to ensure that the company's solutions are tailored to the demands and nuances of targeted industry sectors. #LI-BP1
What you will do:
Market Insight and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, challenges faced by the industry, and any regulatory changes to understand the evolving needs of the target market as it relates to contracting in the Public Sector.
Thought Leadership: Establish oneself as a thought leader through publishing industry insights, participating in conferences, and networking with industry experts.
Strategy Development: Lead the collaborative efforts with product management, marketing, and sales teams to develop and implement strategies that align the Icertis contract intelligence platform and solutions with industry-specific requirements.
Product Advisory: Provide insights and recommendations for product features, usability, and service models that meet the unique challenges and demands of the Public Sector vertical.
Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers to gather feedback, understand their specific needs, and act as a liaison between the customer and the product development teams.
Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with industry-specific knowledge, market trends, and unique selling propositions, to enhance sales effectiveness.
Pre-Sales Enablement: Equip the pre-sales team with customer specific knowledge, industry-specific knowledge, market trends, and unique selling propositions.
Content Development: Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted content and messaging that resonates with industry-specific audiences and various personas.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various departments to ensure cohesive effort in vertical alignment strategies, ensuring all teams are informed and engaged in the process.
Domain Mastery: Stay updated with our CLM market trends and Icertis offerings, ensuring you are well-equipped to present solutions effectively, represent and articulate the value of CLM with Icertis.
Performance Metrics: Contribute to defining and tracking key metrics for your specific domain and areas of focus, concentrating on the team’s impact on growth, positive marketing momentum, and analysts’ perception.
Articulating Value: Contribute to defining and articulating the quantifiable value propositions of our solutions. Provide insights on methodologies to measure and present the tangible benefits and efficiencies gained by clients through our CLM software.

What You Will Bring:
FedRAMP Experience: Experience dealing with FedRAMP is advantageous.
Government Contracting Expertise: Experience or familiarity with government contracting concepts and workflows is highly advantageous.
Industry Expertise: Possess 5-8 years of comprehensive experience in Contract Lifecycle Management or relevant software industry, showcasing a deep understanding of market trends, client needs, and industry challenges.
Customer-Centric Approach: Proven ability to understand customer pain points, articulate value propositions effectively, and leverage this understanding to create impactful solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and product development teams, translating industry insights into actionable plans aligned with company objectives.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market data, customer feedback, and competition, extracting actionable insights to guide business strategies and product development initiatives.
Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex industry concepts, both internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional qualifications or certifications related to CLM, or industry expertise are advantageous.

$200,000 - $330,000 a year
This salary range includes 25% target incentive.
