We are looking for a Sr. Content Designer to support growth and partnerships initiatives on our product team. Your efforts will help grow our subscription business and create win-win-win situations for our users, our company, and partner companies.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead content design and content strategy within your cross-functional squad, partnering with design, product, and engineering to build elegant and user-friendly experiences that satisfy customer and business needs
Create content that helps users discover, trial, and experience the full value of Premium throughout their journey
Craft user flows to create a seamless experience for users who discover and join MyFitnessPal through our partner companies
Contribute to the development of enrollment, management, and incentive solutions for enterprise partners
Embrace rapid experimentation, using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods to prototype, test, and learn
Translate research insights into actionable design concepts
Maintain MyFitnessPal’s tone of voice, style, and design systems across all touchpoints and evangelize across the organization to ensure company-wide consistency
Contribute as needed to broader design team initiatives, including the design system, product audits, and customer journey mapping
Partner closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, product marketers, analysts, researchers, and nutrition scientists
Qualifications to be successful in this role:
5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, preferably for native iOS and Android apps
Portfolio highlighting your content design work and thought process
Demonstrated product discovery experience using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including a/b and multivariate testing
Comfortable presenting solutions and rationale to the team and key stakeholders
Experience writing and presenting content in Figma or similar design software
Ability to transform technical and scientific jargon into user-friendly content
Passion for understanding the MyFitnessPal brand, our members, and their motivations
Bonus points:
Experience in the health, wellness, or fitness space
Experience working within the product operating model
Experience with Braze and/or Split

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $120,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, MyFitnessPal offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, parental planning, mental health benefits, annual performance bonus, a 401(k) plan and match, responsible time off, monthly wellness and technology allowances, and others.
