Sr. Business Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships
We're on the search for a superstar Sr. Business Development Manager, Strategic Partnerships.
As a Sr. Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner relationship management and execute the partnership engagement strategy across LATAM delivering quantifiable results with marketplace and distribution partners in travel and hospitality.
This role requires you to be creative, collaborative, and eager to tackle new grounds. You will need the ability to identify, engage and cultivate relationships with Cloudbeds partners i.e. both marketplace partners and distribution partners, quickly assessing the attractiveness of potential opportunities.
What You Will Do:
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the viability of potential new business and channel opportunities based on geography and other parameters;
Identify, outreach, engage, and develop new (and existing) partner relationships in LATAM based on the Cloudbeds strategy, including the negotiation of commercial agreements;
Evaluate and prioritize all inbound partner requests in the region;
Manage the relationship with regional and global Cloudbeds partners across distribution, marketplace, financial services, and more;
Manage monetization of partners through scalable programs;
Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of key business objectives, channel revenue deliverables, and related product enhancement initiatives;
Represent Cloudbeds as a subject matter expert at industry events and forums.
You’ll Succeed With:
A Bachelor’s degree is required;
5+ years of experience in technology, consulting, business development, account management, digital marketing, and/or professional services experience;
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience in the travel industry ideal, especially previous experience with travel technology products;
Proven ability to develop long-term relationships with both internal and external customers. A team player who can lead by influence;
A public speaker with ease and conviction, willing to represent Cloudbeds in industry events;
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and travel regionally;
Excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills. Fluency in additional languages is ideal (Portuguese).
