The 1Password Solutions Engineering team is a valuable resource to our customers and fellow Go-to-Market team members. Our solutions engineers are well known and respected as experts on the product, a trusted advisor to our sales teams and customers, and a sought after resource for various types of customer calls. The team collaborates with Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Support to create resources, provide training opportunities, and elevate the overall understanding of 1Password.
As a Solutions Engineer, SMB, you will play a key role within go-to-market by supporting our sales teams with customer requests and learning resources. You’ll be vital in expediting sales opportunities by assisting customers with their compliance needs, actively responding to security questionnaires, and other vendor registration requirements. As part of our human-centric approach to security, you will be instrumental in supporting customers and other go-to-market teams by creating valuable video and knowledge base content, facilitating customer office hours, demos, and technical consultations. Your efforts will aim to increase adoption, reduce friction, and elevate the understanding of 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within the UK.
What we're looking for:
Communication (& Language): You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to engage and develop relationships, sharing information effectively across all professional levels.
Experience in a customer-facing role with a preference for experience in a SaaS/Security/Technology environment.
Possesses the ability to communicate technical information in a way that is accessible and appealing to a general audience.
Demonstrates superior presentation and writing skills.
Possesses a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality standards.
Demonstrates a high level of adaptability, effectively managing multiple projects concurrently while upholding exceptional quality standards.
Possess strong time management skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager—while not required, it’ll help you gain confidence quickly in this role.
What you can expect:
Work with our self service and SMB customers to share product knowledge and demonstrate aspects of 1Password.
Provide training to both customers and team members at 1Password.
Respond to vendor requests, security questionnaires, and legal requests.
Write and manage knowledge-base content for Go-to-market.
Record video resources to be shared internally and with customers.
To be a sought after resource for Go-to-market for questions regarding 1Password.
Work with the rest of your team to create materials for learning about and using 1Password.

While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
