As a Solutions Engineer with us, you’ll play a vital role in helping customers adopt and maximise the value of our innovative platform. You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to configure and deliver demos, run proofs of concept (POCs), and manage demo workspaces. Your analytical insights and strong client engagement skills will be essential in showcasing the power of our platform and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
The Role: As a Solution Engineer at Cytora, you will work closely with our Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive the technical side of the sales process. You will be instrumental in helping prospects adopt our platform, preparing and delivering product demos, running proofs of concept (POCs), and ensuring our solution aligns with customer needs. Your ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders will be key to showcasing how Cytora’s technology can transform their operations. What you will be doing
Customer Engagement & Technical Expertise:
Serve as the primary technical contact during the presales process, addressing technical queries and communicating the architecture of our platform.
Help customers understand and navigate the technical aspects of our platform, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
Ultimately responsible for securing the technical win within sales engagements
Sales Support & Demonstrations:
Lead and prepare product demos tailored to the needs of prospective customers.
Collaborate with the Sales team to identify customer pain points and align our platform’s capabilities to solve them.
Deliver technical presentations and represent Cytora at conferences and client meetings.
POC Execution & Analysis:
Set up, configure, and manage demo environments and POCs for prospective customers.
Analyze the performance of POCs and provide actionable insights to both customers and internal teams.
Collaboration Across Teams:
Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to provide feedback and ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to post-sales support.
Share customer insights and feedback to continuously improve the product offering and customer experience.
What we are looking for
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and demo complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple presales engagements in parallel.
Strong rapport-building skills with customers, ensuring a positive presence throughout the sales cycle.
A passion for AI and Generative AI technologies and the ability to effectively communicate their value to customers.
Technical Skills:
Experience in a customer-facing technical role, with a solid understanding of SaaS solutions and B2B enterprise customers.
Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly Generative AI, and the ability to discuss technical aspects with confidence.
Experience in configuring and setting up technical environments for POCs and demos.
Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar for API testing, and familiarity with GitHub or similar source control platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical skills to assess platform performance and provide actionable insights to optimize customer experiences.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in the insurance or InsurTech industry.
Hands-on experience with configuring and testing AI-based products.
