Responsibilities:
Be part of a team that’s building a highly scalable, high quality, and low latency web platform at Reddit’s scale.
Partner and collaborate with partner teams to deliver high quality UI components
Tackle tough design and product problems.
Work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering to deliver great user experiences.
Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, and giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
Who You Might Be
4+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer developing production code
Experience with Golang is preferred
Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas: GraphQL, Python
Exposure to design patterns of large, high-scale web applications, such as well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms
Entrepreneurial and self-directed, innovative, biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
Able to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems.
