Our SRE/DevOps role combines a wealth of technical and process expertise to help us improve our infrastructure and application reliability.
You will
Manage incidents and create processes to support that
Improve our monitoring across the board (ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB),
Improve our role management and policies
Reduce risk in our release processes
Improve and implement logging standards, including x-ray tracing
Plan disaster recovery
Log Identification/Catalogue (Documentation on what to do for certain errors)
Work with our infrastructure, dev and product teams to implement processes to support your role.
About you:
We envisage the following skills and experiences are required for this role
Worked in a cloud based environment (pref. AWS)
5+ years of experience using:
Cloudwatch metrics, dashboards and alarms
IaC (pref. Terraform)
Github/Gitlab actions (CI/CD practices)
AWS infrastructure (IAM / ECS (Docker) / Lambda / RDS / VPC)
XRay (Tracing)
Knowledge of:
js Apis
Python Apis, ETL pipelines
