Site Reliability Engineer

Our SRE/DevOps role combines a wealth of technical and process expertise to help us improve our infrastructure and application reliability.

You will

• Manage incidents and create processes to support that

• Improve our monitoring across the board (ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB),

• Improve our role management and policies

• Reduce risk in our release processes

• Improve and implement logging standards, including x-ray tracing

• Plan disaster recovery

• Log Identification/Catalogue (Documentation on what to do for certain errors)

• Work with our infrastructure, dev and product teams to implement processes to support your role.

About you:

We envisage the following skills and experiences are required for this role

• Worked in a cloud based environment (pref. AWS)

• 5+ years of experience using:

  • Cloudwatch metrics, dashboards and alarms

  • IaC (pref. Terraform)

  • Github/Gitlab actions (CI/CD practices)

  • AWS infrastructure (IAM / ECS (Docker) / Lambda / RDS / VPC)

  • XRay (Tracing)

• Knowledge of:

  • js Apis

  • Python Apis, ETL pipelines
