Senior VFX Artist - LaunchOps

Our portfolio includes chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
This role would be ideally on-site based in our Paris offices, but we're open to remote candidates in Europe.
Team
Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
The Core Central Team provides hands-on support and mentoring to all Voodoo studios looking to create new casual puzzle and midcore games, and anything hybrid in between.
Role
Design and create visually stunning particles to enhance the wow factor and game feel of all our upcoming casual puzzle and midcore games
Integrate your VFX into the Unity game engine, working closely with artists
Ensure compliance with technical limitations to produce both visually appealing and functional effects.
Be the go-to person in the company for anything related to VFX, teaching other artists all your tricks
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our VFX are cutting-edge.
Profile
Design and implement high-quality VFX using Unity and Photoshop.
Collaborate with art and development teams to ensure visual effects align seamlessly with the overall artistic direction and technical requirements of mobile platforms.
Utilize tools like Maya, Blender, or Houdini to enhance and streamline VFX pipelines (knowledge in any of these is a plus).
Write and optimize shaders for visually compelling and performance-efficient effects (a highly valued skill).
Maintain high standards of creativity, quality, and innovation, contributing to the ongoing visual refinement of our games.
