Senior Value Consultant - Strategy and Operations (ESG & Sustainability)
Do you want to bring new solutions to market to help companies solve their most challenging ESG and sustainability reporting problems? This strategic role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives to iterate on and launch new solutions in the market.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, business acumen, innovation experience and top-notch communication skills. ESG reporting or advisory experience is a plus. This position is suited for someone who can not only create a high level strategy, but also execute on that strategy. You will have the opportunity to analyze customers’ unmet needs and collaborate cross-functionally to build, test and scale.
What You'll Do:
Develop a deep and broad understanding of our customers’ unmet ESG reporting needs and size of the market, drive key insights and own analysis to support business cases
Support prioritization, project management and execution from discovery to market testing
Research current and upcoming disclosure regulation (e.g. CSRD, SEC climate rule, IFRS, etc.)
Collaborate with product and solutioning team to ideate on and test value proposition of concepts and prototypes
Collaborate with marketing to design go-to-market plans, messaging and positioning
Collaborate with sales enablement team to design, create and lead training for sales teams
Collaborate with sales teams to reinforce our value proposition and collect feedback from the market
Collaborate with partnership teams to engage our consulting, advisory and technology partner ecosystem
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, product management or at a high-growth technology company
Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years and a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and regulations (CSRD, SEC)
Experience researching customers’ unmet needs, and testing new ideas and offerings in the market
Experience working in an ambiguous, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience collaborating with and influencing different functions in an organization
Desire to lead change in organizations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to research, analyze, and succinctly report data
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Ability to travel up to 10%
Access to reliable internet access throughout any period of remote work, not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $101,000.00 - $172,000.00
✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
