Job Description:
AQUENT is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer/Editor for our Fortune 500 Financial client. This role is full time, for 23+ months and offers full benefits - medical, dental, 401K and more. The ideal candidate will sit in Chicago, Richmond or Mclean VA, this opportunity can be REMOTE as well. In addition to a resume you will need to showcase a writing sample on a complex technical topic
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years strong technical writing experience, including deliverables for a developer (or highly technical) audience
- Experience using Github, Git, markdown, and HTML 5 to produce technical documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly and break down complex topics into a logical organizational structure
- Familiarity with DevOps/SDLC
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (e.g., being Amazon Cloud Practitioner certified)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Very basic knowledge of scripting/programming and data structures
- Experience working in an Agile environment
