Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead our efforts in sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier talent across all levels of the organization. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for understanding hiring needs, creating and executing sourcing strategies, and ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this role will partner closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HR to ensure the right talent is brought into the organization to support our growing technical and non-technical needs.
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding candidates.
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidates and build a strong pipeline of qualified technical talent.
Work closely with hiring managers and department leads to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and team dynamics.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technical skills in demand, and competitor hiring practices to ensure the best talent is sourced and hired.
Provide a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience throughout the interview and hiring process, from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
Act as the primary point of contact for all technical recruiting activities
Under the direction of the Senior Director of HR, offer insights to leadership and advise on hiring decisions, challenges, and market trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4 years focused on technical recruiting (software engineering, data science, IT, etc.).
Deep understanding of technical roles, the technology industry, and the skills required for success in software development, engineering, and data science.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and social media platforms to source and track candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed hiring targets and continuously improve recruiting processes.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Ability to understand and shift priorities based on changing needs of the organization.
