Senior Staff / Principal Data Engineer
About the role We’re looking for a Senior Staff/Principal Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Group and support all data and analytics initiatives across Pleo. While embedded in the Data Platform Group, you’ll work directly with the VP of Data, contributing as a key member of the data leadership team. You'll collaborate extensively with Product, Engineering and Business teams to ensure our data solutions directly drive product innovation and business outcomes. You’ll help shape the future of Pleo’s data landscape, supporting multiple teams, driving strategic projects, and staying hands-on with cutting-edge technology to deliver impactful solutions.
You are a trailblazer, ready to lead innovation, mentor others, and tackle strategic challenges while maintaining a strong focus on execution. You’ll partner with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders across the company to unlock the potential of data in driving Pleo’s mission forward.
The Data Platform Group Our mission is to empower every Pleo’er to take data-inspired actions by providing a scalable, robust analytics infrastructure. In this role, you’ll extend our group’s influence by enabling teams across the business to deliver on complex data and analytics projects while ensuring alignment and collaboration. In this role, you'll serve as a bridge between the Data Platform Group and other teams, ensuring our data infrastructure evolves in lockstep with product development and business needs.
