Hello 👋 I am Servesh, Co- founder and CTO at Kayzen, and I am now looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be a part of the platform engineering team.  🙌

Kayzen powers the world’s best mobile marketing teams to take programmatic advertising in-house. Built on the three key pillars of performance, transparency and control, Kayzen is a DSP which enables leading app developers, agencies, media buyers and D2C brands to run programmatic user acquisition, retargeting, and branding campaigns in self-serve or managed service mode. With an unprecedented scale of >160bn daily ad requests from 2bn+ unique users worldwide, we serve more than 500M ads per day to 180 countries. Kayzen is accessible through our APIs or user interface.

The role

The Platform Engineering team owns the Real-time bidding (RTB) platform, a Real-time budget system, Real-time event processing, stream data processing engine and multiple other complex large-scale distributed components and data pipelines. You will work closely with data scientists, data analysts, product and business teams.

Day to day

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, code, deploy & maintain highly scalable software components, optimal data pipeline architecture for large- scale data volumes

• Dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interaction

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

• Build the system required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and ‘big data’ technologies.

• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.

• Mentor junior software engineers 

Sounds like you? 😉 We are looking for a candidate with a minimum 5+ yrs of professional experience working in distributed systems.

• 5+ years of experience in coding & implementing complex projects 

• Proficiency in Java is a MUST

• Past Experience in ML/DS is a big plus

• Good understanding of Multi-threading, JVM, GC and profiling tools

• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.

• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, proficiency in working in Unix/Linux-based environment

• Ad-tech, marketing-tech experience is a big plus

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn
