WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The Infrastructure Team is responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, and tuning our Production and Staging environments, CI/CD pipelines, Observability Stack, Security, and Developer Experience. We are looking for entrepreneurial engineers interested in being a part of our rapidly growing engineering team.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you have a track record of success. You are comfortable taking full responsibility for complex, high-liability projects. You have experience making key architectural decisions and performing the research to back up those decisions. You enjoy mentoring and providing support to fellow engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the product teams on core services and framework improvements
Manage the private NPM artifactory
Pair with your colleagues to develop features for the Qualia Operator (for Kubernetes) in Go
Work on storage and database management (MongoDB, S3)
Advise on application performance optimizations
Work on observability stack (Prometheus, EFK)
Develop infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Build CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions)
Develop traffic and access policies
Provide SRE support
Participate in the on-call rotation
YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH
Hands-on working experience with
Kubernetes Operators
Package Management
Prometheus
CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in Node.js, Go, Ruby
3+ years of experience designing, troubleshooting, and tuning large scale cloud systems
1+ years of technical leadership experience architecting and managing cloud infrastructure as code
Experience with large scale enterprise SaaS deployments and MongoDB is a strong plus
Excellent written and verbal communication, people, and collaboration skills
BS/MS in Computer Science or in a relevant field of study
While this role is based in San Francisco, California, we're open to exploring remote possibilities for qualified candidates
This role has a base annual salary of $175,000-$215,000 plus a competitive equity and benefits package. (Salary to be determined by relevant experience, location, knowledge, and skills of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
