The team
Our team is at the forefront of security at Kraken: We provide security architecture and review services on almost all new products, projects and everything else that requires security.
Our goal is to ensure the security of our customers and the company: We achieve this by providing deeply technical and practical security advice and not being afraid of becoming an individual contributor where necessary.
The entire team are hands-on practitioners and highly-technical researchers, not just paper reviewers.
The opportunity
Solve (crypto & blockchain) security problems that often have not been solved on a large-scale before
Drive, as a lead, the security architecture and implementation of products
Provide deeply technical security advice to new and existing projects
Review, on documentation and code-level, products build on top of a wide variety of tech-stacks
Create “productively paranoid” threat-models and other security documentation
Nurture security talent in the engineering teams, sharing knowledge whenever possible
Build the next generation of secure crypto products
Skills you should HODL
Significant hands-on security testing expertise, from code-review to pentesting
High technical knowledge on a wide variety of tech-stacks (we are not looking for specifics - we want to see a wide knowledge and will specialize you wherever necessary!)
Significant expertise in threat-modeling
Significant expertise in the usage of cryptography
Knowledge in reverse-engineering
Passion for secure computing
