Senior Product Manager, Marketing Reporting
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to join a team building high-impact reporting experiences for HubSpot’s Marketing Hub customers.
HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better. We believe that when our customers run their marketing, sales, and service teams on HubSpot, there’s a multiplier effect and the flywheel starts spinning. All of the touchpoints that our customers are having with their customers creates data in the HubSpot CRM. In the Reporting Product Group, we’re focused on helping turn CRM data into real answers and action for the business, so our customers can attract, engage, and delight their buyer.
We’re looking for an SPM to enable impactful reports across key Marketing Hub focus areas. For example, evolving our multi-touch revenue attribution tools to give marketers credit for their impact, maturing our end-to-end customer journey reporting to unlock full visibility into interactions, and unlocking actionable insight on web traffic or campaigns in order to drive the most effective conversions. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketing customer problem space, and you’ll be responsible for building out a roadmap that drives the right results for both customers and the business, with an AI-first mindset.
More about the opportunity:
You’ll join the Marketing Reporting team within the Reporting Product Group. This is a high performing team that is fully staffed with front end engineers, back end engineers, and a senior product designer. The Marketing Reporting team is the liaison between the Reporting Product Group and several Marketing Hub teams, so we’re looking for someone who is excited to build a unified perspective across multiple high-impact initiatives, and is ready to lean into stakeholder management. In addition to owning HubSpot’s Attribution and Customer Journeys report builders, you’ll consult Marketing Hub teams on how to bring their own reports to life, and directly influence how we should mature the HubSpot platform to best meet the needs of our customers and our internal teams.
In this role you’ll be asked to:
Create a shared strategy and cohesive roadmap for the future of this product area as a critical member of the Product Triad - our system for building product collaboratively and strategically
Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across Sales Hub including fellow PMs and executive stakeholders
Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch
Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often
Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers’ experience, devise strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our customers grow
We are looking for people who have:
Experience launching products successfully to customers
A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, business and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs
The ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences
Experience partnering closely with design and engineering teams on a regular basis
A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others
A drive to understand customer needs deeply and truly solving for their problems
Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills
A passion for growing healthy teams and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating tough conversations that help people grow
A desire to understand how HubSpot products work
The ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
Demonstrated ability to adapt in an innovative and fast-paced environment
An understanding of the competitive software space
Experience building reporting products, sales products, or working on platform teams.
As a member of the Product Management org at HubSpot you’ll:
Join a product-led culture that truly puts the customer first
Create and advance an ambitious product strategy that’s driven by customer needs, business goals, powerful data, and global market indicators
Partner closely with colleagues in UX and Engineering to create a high-value product that’s both powerful and easy to use
Use your voice, share your perspective, and have a real impact based on your point of view
Know what will lead to getting promoted, and why, thanks to clear expectations and robust career paths
Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that’s at home, in an office, or a blend of the two.
