We are seeking a strategic marketing and Community-first pro with at least 8-10 years of experience across Experiential/Events, Storytelling/Social, Program/Product Marketing, Brand/Creative/Production/Tooling and People Leadership. You are an operational powerhouse, creative innovator and experienced people leader/team builder who will establish the ModLab function and build the playbook for scaling delightful moderator experiences and campaigns.
As the Senior Manager of Marketing - Modlab you and the team will be responsible for all moderator focused activations, campaigns and corresponding touchpoints. These activations include in-person events, virtual summits, on-platform experiences, mod-focused product rollouts and campaigns, key cultural moments, the mod merch shop and moderator and community storytelling.
You will:
Be focused on proactive initiatives and opportunities and will be a significant contributor to the community playbook at Reddit.
Contribute to Reddit’s continued growth both in the US and internationally.
Own a global portfolio of moderator experiences and campaigns that set the bar high and have impact across the ecosystem.
Craft and drive the narrative and work through experiences that help illuminate the magic of moderators that inspire the next generation of community creators and leaders on Reddit.
Bring proven experience developing and executing insights-driven marketing efforts that build affinity and engagement.

Have a robust understanding and passion for Reddit.
This is a builder role, you will 100% be getting into the weeds to build a function from the ground up while leading a team. Expect to lean on your experience while learning new things every day. We are looking for bigger, bolder and more inventive experiences to evolve the current portfolio. We live and breathe the mission and expect ModLab to be a key function that delivers delight at scale to moderators.
Responsibilities:
Own the story around moderators/moderation and how that comes through Experiences
Be a deft producer; keen eye for how we build and architect the portfolio
Go beyond the expected; expand our global portfolio of moderator experiences that deliver delight and impact.
Bring specialized market and audience knowledge to create exceptional experiences
Iterate, innovate, and scale the community playbook – you will be an author/builder/doer not a reader/consumer/follower
Recognize new opportunities, execute on bold ideas, distill and incorporate best practices for broader scale and implementation
Communicate quantitative and qualitative impact to optimize the community playbook
Be obsessive about achieving outcomes that create more opportunities for moderators to belong and find value in their individual experiences.
Be the internal champion for moderator experiences at Reddit.
Work cross-functionally with Community and International Growth Teams
Owns: Events, Merch, Creative Production, Program Marketing
High comfort level navigating ambiguity, resolving complex issues independently and understanding when to escalate to leadership
Strong communicator, async collaborator and written/verbal presenter - effectively lead a cross functional briefing meeting, present to senior stakeholders, bring teams together.
