THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has built a world-class events platform and marketplace, enabling entrepreneurs worldwide to build and grow their businesses with live events while helping event-goers discover unique, local things to do.

We are looking for an experienced Lifecycle Marketer who can evolve our B2B communications to help us acquire, engage, and ultimately retain event organizers. You'll do this by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover insights and identify opportunities to improve cross-channel communications that sell our value.

THE TEAM

Lifecycle Marketing is tasked with building strong relationships with event organizers through engaging event lifecycle updates and education, cross-sells and upsells, feature launch announcements, and loyalty and winback campaigns that drive meaningful business impact. We work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Data, Design, Content Marketing, and our business partners. We are a highly cross-functional team that delivers top-tier work by leveraging our collective creativity and strategic prowess.

THE ROLE

This role will be responsible for architecting initiatives that establish customer relationships and inspire engagement and retention. You will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining campaigns and marketing plans. In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of our customers and their journeys, as well as work with cross-functional teams to maximize business impact. You must have excellent written communication skills, a keen attention to detail, be able to manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet tight deadlines. This is a high impact role in which the successful candidate will continually test, learn and iterate in the pursuit of highly-efficient and valuable customer touchpoints.

YOU WILL

  • Develop, execute, and optimize customer campaigns from conception to launch. Leverage Market Research and data analytics insights that inspire either new campaigns or optimizations to existing ones.

  • Work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Product teams to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization.

  • Build cohesive user journeys with rigorous segmentation, based on a deep understanding of our customers and their lifecycles

  • Measure, monitor, and report on performance metrics for all comms types for leadership, deriving key insights from data and suggesting adjustments to strategy and tactics in response

  • Build, test, and optimize engagement and retention programs, making continuous improvements based on performance, trends, and insights; regularly report out metrics

  • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to create and execute integrated, cross-channel campaigns

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities to increase engagement from active and lapsed customers

  • Assist with distribution efforts in channels outside of email, as needed

THE SKILL SET

  • 4+ years of email marketing experience

  • Proven track of record of building and optimizing multiple marketing campaigns; equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level

  • Experience with email delivery platforms, customer relationship management software, and data warehouses, especially Hubspot and Braze

  • Experience with mobile marketing (push and SMS)

  • A keen attention to detail and excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills and a track record for delivering clear and compelling customer-facing materials

  • Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to a specific customer segment/experience

  • Define, measure, track, and report on relevant metrics. Build and maintain ongoing datasets.

  • Experience running A/B tests and deriving insights that drive strategy

  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze large sets of data

  • 'Can-do' approach to a varied workload and resourceful problem-solving instincts

  • Bachelor’s degree

BONUS POINTS

  • SQL, Tableau, and/or Salesforce experience

  • Figma (for minor design edits on the fly)

  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events

LOCATION

  • Remote US, with a preference for Austin, Bay Area, or NYC
