Senior HRIS and People Operations Coordinator
As a Senior People Coordinator, you'll be a critical team member helping to ensure our new hires and employees are supported in their most important career and life moments. As we continue to scale rapidly across global markets, you will bring both technical HRIS expertise and strategic perspective to how we work, lead system improvements, and implement efforts to make our work more effective, efficient, and engaging for employees. You'll be a go-to expert for members of the People team and employees regarding our HRIS platforms, practices, policies, and processes, while ensuring data integrity across all systems. This 100% remote position will report directly to our Senior People Operations Manager.
Daily Responsibilities:
Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, managing system configurations, maintenance, and upgrades across our HR tech stack (In partnership with the IT team)
Lead and execute operational tasks in support of the full employee life cycle (pre-boarding to post-termination), serving as a subject matter expert for complex cases
Drive continuous improvement of employee experience processes while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with employee data across all People-related systems
Manage and optimize the Jira ticketing system for people support, including creating workflows and developing best practices, and provide training to ensure new team members are proficient in system processes and troubleshooting
Lead knowledge management initiatives using Notion or similar platforms, ensuring documentation remains current and implementing governance standards
Design and analyze reports to track key metrics, trends, and maintain data integrity across HR systems
Partner with internal stakeholders (including accounting, payroll, IT) on strategic matters related to onboarding, employee changes, terminations, and process improvements
Support international expansion efforts by serving as an immigration liaison and helping establish and maintain compliant People processes across new entities, including coordinating with external immigration counsel, managing visa applications, and ensuring compliance with global mobility requirements
Mentor team members and serve as our technical resource for the broader People team
Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives to improve HR operations
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRIS analyst experience (Workday, ADP, or other major platforms)
Strong technical proficiency with ability to serve as system administrator across HR platforms, including advanced experience with Jira and knowledge base platforms like Notion
Demonstrated experience leading HR projects, process improvements, and system implementations
Proven track record of maintaining data integrity and creating meaningful insights through HR analytics and reporting
Experience supporting international HR operations, immigration processes and multi-entity organizations, including understanding of compliance requirements across regions
Previous experience liaising with immigration counsel and managing global mobility programs strongly preferred
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across teams
Advanced proficiency with business tools (MS Office, Google Workspace) and ability to learn new technologies quickly
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience mentoring team members and influencing stakeholders at all levels
