Senior Copywriter
What you'll do
Collaborate with the marketing, and product teams, to develop engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing campaigns.
Conduct research to understand the product, target audience, and market trends to cross pollinate across the company for consistency in messaging.
Brainstorm and implement creative ideas for content across different platforms such as websites, social media, email, applications, product, and print materials.
Work with production staff to ensure clarity of message is executed effectively through to the final form the copy takes. This may include working in-person on set for any production shoots to elevate copy in real time with actors plus feedback to editors/designers through post-production.
Write impactful copy that adheres to brand guidelines and ensures consistency in tone and style across all communications.
Revise and edit content for all other staff writers, creative staff, and agencies based on feedback to improve clarity, conversion, compliance, and overall impact.
Lead in training programs to hone writing skills and understand the company's processes, and brand voice
Develop and test winning brand copy across the entire marketing funnel and product for a consistent, proven, and engaging customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to mentor and train Jr writers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience writing for organic social, paid social, email, retention, landing pages, SMS, upsells, long and short form branded content, commercial campaigns, radio ads, and podcast spots.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Copy Writing and Marketing teams
Health and wellness vertical experience a plus
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Basic understanding of performance metrics and how they relate to creative writing to be able to successfully test into winning copy repeatedly.
Understanding of all social media platforms and their respective audiences behaviours, phycology, and customer experience on the platforms
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The pay range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. We offer a competitive salary package and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
