The Senior Compensation Analyst will report into the Head of Total Rewards & Payroll within the Total Rewards & Payroll pillar of the People Operations team and will play an integral part in designing and building scalable compensation structures, programs and systems that will support our growth.
In this role youโll have the opportunity to:
Design and deliver compensation frameworks and structures and ensure that our programs are in compliance with all compensation laws and regulations.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to understand their perspectives and needs related to compensation, and to provide counsel to leaders. regarding evolving compensation practices, evaluating new positions, job bands, grade levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfers.
Conduct internal pay equity and fairness analysis.
Generate quarterly equity grant submissions for the Board.
Support the production of board materials as needed with regard to compensation.
Own the analysis of HR metrics and reporting to the People Ops team and leaders.
Support stakeholders from across the business with compensation recommendations and analyses as needed.
Work with the Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll teams on cross-functional total rewards projects.
In the first six months of this role you will:
Build an understanding of our Compensation Philosophy and Strategy, our existing frameworks, structures, and programs.
Get to know the People Ops team and key stakeholders to build business context and familiarize yourself with Wealthsimple as a company.
Partner with the Senior Manager, Total Rewards to support the People Ops team and leaders through the year-end compensations review process.
Partner with the Talent Management team to ensure our compensation framework is aligned with the internal job level system.
Conduct annual pay equity exercise and job evaluation to meet compliance.
Conduct training workshops for our managers and talent partners to communicate compensation programs and philosophy.
Lead and innovate on our biannual compensation review process for 2024 and beyond.
