Senior Cloud GTM Specialist
An overview of this role
A Senior Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist plays a crucial role in bridging product development and market success for cloud-based solutions. This position focuses on developing and executing strategies to bring cloud products to market effectively, with emphasis on co-selling partnerships.
What you’ll do
Help Develop and Execute GTM Strategies: Assist in the development of GTM strategies. Implement strategies for evangelizing joint cloud products, including market positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
Buyer/Market Feedback: Capture buyer feedback during cloud coselling. They also capture and share competitive information with product and product marketing.
Product Positioning and Messaging: Help with refining messaging and positioning for cloud products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of GTM plans.
Cloud Evangelism: Provide support to champion joint products and solutions to cloud sellers and related teams. Provide support at industry and joint marketing events. Work with GitLab field sales to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases.
Customer Acquisition and Retention: Execute strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones through effective GTM initiatives.
What you’ll bring
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with some experience in cloud coselling.
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and trends.
Strong cloud coselling experience, preferably in the DevOps space.
Strong experience in driving Go-To-Market initiatives, technical partnerships, or similar roles.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a cross-functional team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen and a passion for cloud computing.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
