Join our dynamic Finance team as we expand the Procurement function under the leadership of the VP, Controller. As a strategic pillar of our organization, the Procurement team is focused on driving operational efficiencies and cost savings. The demand for procurement transformation is evident, and the Senior Analyst, Procurement role will play a crucial part in this initiative. In this position, you and the Procurement Lead will work as a team in fostering strong partnerships and collaborating closely with key stakeholders across various business segments, as well as acting as a strategic advisor to help guide our procurement strategies and initiatives.
About the Senior Analyst, Procurement Role:
Support Procurement Lead: Assist with end to end tendering process, status reporting, and project management to ensure timely delivery of business requests and procurement projects.
Vendor Management Framework: Help build and maintain a comprehensive vendor management framework and procurement policies across the organization.
Project Management: Apply project management methodologies and tools to manage phases of projects or light governance projects under Procurement Lead’s guidance and leadership.
Concierge Service: Provide high-level support to business department leaders in navigating governance and procurement processes.
Analytics and Insights: Prepare status reports, ensure approval tasks are documented in procurement tools, maintain vendor records and provide spend analytics to business stakeholders.
Risk Management: Work closely with Security, Legal, Privacy and Operations teams in identifying vendor risks and facilitate discussions for remediation while maintaining a performance feedback log.
Collaboration with Finance and Other Divisions: Work closely with Finance and other business units in driving procurement transformation initiatives
Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities for process improvements, audit supplier spend, and communicate with leadership to resolve inquiries and uphold governance standards.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma or equivalent in a related field
Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience negotiating and working with internal and external stakeholders
2-4 years of procurement experience with RFX events, Indirect Procurement, reviewing contracts and commercial terms, and negotiation.
Strong organization skills including demonstrated tenacity for following up with team, collaborators and governance SMEs on outstanding items
Solid understanding of any Procurement applications (ZIP is a plus, or Oracle, Coupa, Netsuite)
