Lumivero is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of key government accounts across Australia, focusing on delivering cutting-edge project risk management software solutions. This role requires expertise in government procurement, strong consultative sales skills, and a deep understanding of enterpriserisk management needs within the public sector.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, understand their unique challenges, and deliver tailored solutions to drive client satisfaction and business growth. Your expertise in navigating government procurement processes and stakeholder engagement will be critical to success.
You will be responsible for driving account growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and positioning our software as the go-to solution for effective risk management in government departments, in particular those with oversight of major projects. This is the perfect position for a motivated sales professional with a strong desire to win by selling market-leading enterprise software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including risk managers, project managers, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
Develop and execute strategic account plans, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives, to achieve growth and retention targets.
Lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions to ensure long-term client relationships.
Work with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance to clients on how our solutions align with their goals.
Navigate government procurement frameworks, including tender processes, panel arrangements, and compliance requirements.
Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets through effective account management and business development activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, forecasts, and pipeline tracking.
Work closely with internal teams, including product, legal, and delivery, to ensure successful implementation and ongoing service excellence.
Stay informed about government policies, funding priorities, and market trends to provide relevant insights to clients.
Share knowledge with internal teams to inform product and service development.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years in strategic account management, business development, or client relationship roles, ideally servicing government clientswithin the enterpriserisk management software or SaaS space.
5+ years of consistent and demonstrable achievement as a “Top Producer” in past quota carrying roles.
In-depth understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements in Australia.
Familiarity with public sector priorities, challenges, and funding structures.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior government stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
Analytical mindset to identify opportunities and propose tailored solutions.
Proficient with a standard SaaS sellers tech stack (SFDC, Outreach, Sales Navigator, etc.).
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with or knowledge of competitive enterprise and project risk management software solutions and their positioning in the market.
Familiarity with risk management principles: strategic, operational, portfolio, program and project.
