SDET II
We’re looking for a detail oriented QA Engineer with automation, and testing skills who will help deliver a high quality user experience to millions of pinners. You will work with engineering, design, and product management to ensure Pinners have the best possible user experience.
You will use your knowledge of testing, and testability to influence better software design and promote advanced quality concepts like proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, and privacy across products.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with engineers, and teams to improve test coverage, release velocity, and subsequently production health
Design, code, and implement test cases, and integrate with automation suite
Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests
Proactively identify, track, reproduce, and triage bugs through resolution
Provide test case coverage, and defect metrics for substantiate release decisions
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience
Quality expert with an excellent product quality sense and experience working closely with mobile and web client development teams
Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively while ensuring processes and procedures are properly followed
Experience in one of the following: Python, JavaScript or Java
Experience automating end to end UI tests for mobile, and/or web apps
Experience with API automation is a huge plus.
Familiarity with Cypress, Espresso, XCUItest is desired
Ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
Highly effective at working in cross-functional groups and getting results in matrix organizations
Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
