Project:
We’re excited to welcome a Scrum Master who will work closely with 2 to 3 Scrum or Kanban teams to help us achieve our business goals at OpenX. The position is based in our Krakow office and is a fixed-term opportunity for around 1.5 years to cover a team member's long-term absence.
As our Scrum Master, you'll play a key role in supporting teams with problem-solving and process improvements. Your focus will be on identifying challenges and helping to create solutions that remove obstacles. Encouraging creativity and supporting your teammates will be vital! You'll also get involved in enhancing our engineering practices and tools as needed. We’re looking for someone who embodies servant leadership, listens to different perspectives, communicates well, adapts to change, seeks self-improvement, and enjoys working collaboratively.
You’ll team up with our PMO to coach your team members on Scrum and/or Kanban methods, ensuring we apply agile principles effectively. Additionally, you’ll help both internal and external communication to promote transparency and share information openly.
Please note: all interview stages are run remotely!
This is fixed-term role for around 1.5 years to cover long-term absence in the team.

Key Responsibilities
Coach development teams on the principles and practices of Scrum and/or Kanban.
Help your team appreciate the benefits of self-organization.
Support and guide the Product Owner in refining and managing the product backlog.
Assess the team’s maturity in Agile practices and coach them to improve at a comfortable pace.
Enhance communication within the team and beyond to foster transparency.
Work closely with the PMO to help teams utilize tools like Atlassian software for a smoother software development process at OpenX.
Required Qualifications
Solid knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Understanding the value of incremental delivery, metrics, and continuous improvement.
Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, and providing servant leadership.
Familiarity with techniques to address gaps in the Scrum approach (like planning techniques, retrospective formats, and bug handling).
Understanding backlog tracking, prioritization techniques, metrics, velocity, and task definitions.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of Kanban and different software development lifecycle methodologies.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Frameworks such as LeSS, SAFe, Nexus, and Scrum @ Scale is a plus.
Desired Characteristics

Assess the team’s agile maturity and promote ongoing improvement.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain complex tasks clearly.
