Job Description
/N SPRO provides highly talented, hard-working professional consultants to our SAP clients. At /N SPRO, a technical lead is responsible for leading software implementation, integration, and custom software development projects for customers. This position requires expert SAP knowledge with technical software development, and integration expertise using SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will also have deep functional knowledge of SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors.
Candidates for this position may reside in any US or Canadian (preferably Montreal, QC) location, but must be willing to travel up to 30% to support customer engagements, with the remainder of time working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyzes customer business requirements and translates those requirements into technical design specifications
· Provides software development services for customers during SAP and SuccessFactors Implementation and Integration projects.
· Develops and executes test plans and documents solution
· Customer Support
- Provides remote and on-site technical support for client software implementations.
- Provides technical support, including reviewing system configurations, installing software components, providing expert level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Provides functional and technical training to end users as required. Works closely with customers to answer their questions about the software as it pertains to their respective area of expertise, and provides technical direction to customers' information technology staff as required.
· Technical Project Management
- Develop, coordinate and manage detailed cutover lists from inception to post go-live. Drive regular cutover meetings with project teams and client teams.
- Working in collaboration with customers:
- Undertakes project scoping, requirements gathering, and project planning activities.
- As required, manages projects or leads junior developers ensuring project methods, approaches, and controls are adhered to.
- Assesses ongoing project issues and risks and works with customers and management to manage those risks.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspect of project and scope
- Tracks action items, risks, and issues to timely closure. Provides regular status reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related discipline and 3-5 years related experience in the SAP environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with business and IT partners.
- A minimum of five years of hands-on software development experience in the SAP or SuccessFactors environment
- Willingness to do hands-on technical work as well as lead technical projects
- Previous experience leading technical projects
- A minimum of three years hands-on software development and technical consulting experience, with at least two full development project lifecycles. Experience must include demonstrated technical proficiency with Java in addition to at least three of the following technologies, Abap, WebDynpro, SQL, PI, Java, JavaScript, XML/ XSL, HTML, C, Objective-C, BW, BOBJ, Hana, SOAP and/or OData Web Services.
Desirable Qualifications
- Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience including an in-depth understanding of SAP Integration and ASAP methodology.
- Experience with SuccessFactors
- Experience with Hana Cloud Platform
- Technical or functional experience, either theoretical or practical, relating to the core SAP HCM modules including PA, OM, Benefits, Time, Payroll
- Previous systems integration experience
- Experience with Mobile solutions
- Experience with Dell Boomi
- Proficiency with French and English Languages
