Sales Development Representative (Ecommerce - Outbound SDR)
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify high-potential accounts within a designated AE territory. This role requires strategic outbound prospecting, engagement with key decision-makers, and close collaboration with Account Executives to drive pipeline growth.
Responsibilities
Research and identify ideal prospects based on ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria.
Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging, to engage and qualify potential customers.
Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, pain points, and business challenges.
Work closely with an Account Executive to execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and prioritize outreach within the assigned territory.
Develop personalized outreach strategies that resonate with target accounts and increase engagement.
Handle and address common objections to maintain momentum in the sales process.
Track all prospecting activities in HubSpot CRM and ensure data accuracy.
Regularly report on outbound efforts, including key performance metrics such as meetings booked, conversion rates, and pipeline impact.

Strong ability to identify, engage, and qualify high-value prospects through strategic outbound efforts.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and navigate conversations effectively.
A structured and process-driven approach to prospecting, ensuring consistent follow-ups and data tracking.
Collaborative mindset, working closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to drive success.
Prior experience in ecommerce technology, SaaS, or a related industry is preferred.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneously, and comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
A self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and a results-driven attitude.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of SDR/BDR experience in a SaaS company, preferably within ecommerce technology or operations.
Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment.
Proven success in outbound prospecting, including ABM-style engagement and multi-touch outreach.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, with the ability to generate reports and optimize workflows.
A methodical and disciplined approach to tracking leads, follow-ups, and pipeline metrics.
