We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. You will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth by generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads and initiating the sales process. Your primary focus will be on engaging with potential customers who are interested in Cloud Computing, Developer and Security Operations solutions and our suite of products. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales
What you will be doing:
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
Engage with leads to understand their business challenges, requirements, and buying process. Determine the level of interest and qualification through effective questioning and active listening.
Qualify leads by thoroughly understanding their needs, pain points and budget constraints.
Articulate the value proposition of Deimos’ Professional Services, Partner products and proprietary product offerings.
Educate prospects about the benefits and features of Deimos’ product offering. Understand their unique needs and offer tailored solutions to address their specific pain points.
Proactively reach out to prospects through various channels such as email, phone calls, social media and tech events.
Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the sales team to strategise on effective approaches to penetrate the market and achieve the desired sales targets.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align messaging, campaigns, and content for maximum impact.
Provide feedback to the Head of Sales on market trends and client needs.
Attend industry events and conferences to promote Deimos' services, Deimos Products and our Partners products.
Continuously learn about industry trends staying updated on the latest developments and advancements in cloud computing technologies and services. This includes attending training sessions, webinars, and industry events to enhance your product knowledge and sales skills.
Meet or exceed individual and team-based sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
What you must have:
At least 3+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably as an SDR or similar role within the technology industry.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent active listening skills and the ability to uncover customer pain points.
Ability to engage with potential customers and build relationships.
Self motivated and driven to succeed.
Experience using CRM software to manage leads and sales pipelines.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
Experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation techniques.
A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Experience using prospecting tools such as Apollo.io, Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
