As the SaaS UX/UI Designer at Percona, you will be instrumental in creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our SaaS products. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, design intuitive experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our SaaS solutions.
What You Will Do:
Have a strong product mindset, and a foundation in problem solving and experimentation (i.e. participating and collaborating in the creative process, generating solution ideas, fast-prototyping those ideas, conducting tests, evaluating results, and iterating over and over).
Develop, maintain, and evolve a comprehensive design system that supports our SaaS products.
Create and document UI components, design patterns, and interaction guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target audience.
Translate user insights into user personas, journey maps, and design solutions that prioritize the user experience.
Design aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interfaces for our SaaS products.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of design concepts.
Collaborate on the implementation of design elements, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design prototypes and iterate on designs based on user input.
Analyze user data and behavior to make informed design decisions and improvements.
Establish and maintain a consistent design language and style guide for our SaaS products.
What You Have Done:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in product design, preferably in SaaS solutions.
Experience in designing interfaces for observability platforms and/or features.
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, with an emphasis on user-centered design principles.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma .etc.
Experience with Tailwind CSS and the integration into design systems.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with varying deadlines and milestones.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
Experienced with database metrics, tools and reporting.
Experience in designing and prototyping user interfaces within technical constraints while leveraging and maximizing technical features.
Experience with all stages of product development - concept, wireframes, design iterations, production and quality assurance.
UX research experience conducting contextual research, design synthesis, concept testing, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation.
Experience in front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).
