We are seeking a highly analytical and business-driven Senior Analyst to supercharge Revenue Assurance Analytics at Reddit. This role requires an analytical mindset, a proactive attitude, and a passion for using innovative methods to improve ads delivery, risk management, processes, and controls within a dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with our ads engineering, ads data science, and finance teams to deliver data and analytics solutions that validate the completeness and accuracy of ads revenue and drive business performance.

What you’ll do

• Build and implement monitoring and assurance processes and tools to facilitate independent revenue assurance.

• Perform auction logic validation, ads validation service data quality review, independent platform eventing audits, and recalculate key advertising metrics.

• Analyze ads platform data to identify trends, patterns, and detect potential anomalies or eventing issues.

• Design and build automation for independent assurance analytics that provide real time insights into how financial measures are impacted by changes in the platform or business logic.

• Oversee controls testing to ensure a robust control environment.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Ads Eng, Ads Data Platform, Ads Data Science, and Safety Data Science to provide a risk perspective on the ongoing evolution of our ads business.

Who You Might Be:

• 3 to 5 years' experience in risk analytics, data analytics, audit analytics, data science, or a related analytical field.

• A collaborative and proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to assess complex processes and environments to identify risks and design safeguards.

• Working knowledge of SQL/BigQuery and data analytics automation.

• Understanding of ETL processes, including data enrichment, monitoring, and quality assurance.

• Experience interpreting business logic implemented in code (Python, JavaScript, SQL etc.).

• Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple activities, and meet strict deadlines.

• Organized, efficient, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities include:

• Experience with digital advertising platform technology companies.

• Experience in auditing microservices and collaborating with platform and data engineers.

• CISA, CPA, or similar certification.
