Job Title: Revenue Analyst Location: India Workplace Type: Remote
Job Summary

Our Revenue Analyst Accountant will assist with revenue management by analyzing revenue transactions and ensure that the appropriate journal entries are being recorded. The individual will bring attention to any issues about accounting, or procedures, that may need to be corrected or changed. The Revenue analyst is a contact point between the business unit and the accounting team who will relay information to other revenue policy team members, to ensure proper accounting and ensure communication to the business unit. Revenue analysts will regularly conduct reviews of the revenue transactions to ensure proper recording. They should be able to identify revenue control risks and help develop and implement relevant revenue control initiatives, and they monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of revenue initiatives. They prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue reports and documentation of financial arrangements and need a minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
What You Will Do As A Revenue Analyst
Work within various revenue related systems to ensure proper recording of transactions
Maintain necessary excel files, verifying data
Provide flux analyses monthly for variations in revenue
Provide supporting documentation and analysis to internal and external auditors, and SOX as needed
Review contracts, sales orders and work with the Revenue controller to assess proper revenue recognition treatment
Oversee accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash
Develop, validate, explain key trends
Support initiatives to drive efficiencies around revenue recognition and reporting processes
Collaborate with operations teams to understand what impacts revenue recognition will have on the business
Contribute to the revenue team in develop and improving upon revenue models
Review and analyze revenue and billing activity to ensure completeness and accuracy of all required transactions
Reconcile select general ledger accounts, including investigation and resolution of reconciling items
Assist in performing relative selling price analysis as needed
Prepare monthly reports and analysis for management, as assigned
Develop an understanding and detailed knowledge of the various product line revenue
What You Will Bring As A Revenue Analyst
B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience in a corporate finance setting.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience preferably in revenue or accounting
Excellent communication skills
Detailed and deadline oriented
Experience in NetSuite/FloQast and billing systems is advantageous
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Proven experience working with US based business teams
Excellent written and communication skills, both English and Hindi
Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap
