We are seeking a technical Resident Solution Architect to lead impactful customer technical projects and guide clients through the implementation of cutting-edge data solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and big data systems to design and deliver production-grade MVPs, reference architectures, and demo applications for our customers. You will provide hands-on leadership, working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure successful deployment, post-sales support, and long-term adoption of Acceldata solutions. Your ability to troubleshoot complex deployments, optimize performance, and resolve product issues will be critical to driving customer success.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Lead impactful customer technical projects, including building reference architectures, how-to guides, demo applications, and delivering production-grade MVPs
Provide technical leadership and consultation to support customers in post-sales, guiding them through architecture, design, and implementation of Acceldata solutions to ensure successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption
Guide customers through the implementation of transformational data projects, including third-party migrations, installation, and deployment of Acceldata solutions across various environments
Collaborate with internal technical teams, Project Managers, Architects, and customers to ensure successful delivery of technical components and resolution of product and support issues
Provide feedback to product management and engineering on product gaps and implementation improvements to drive long-term customer success
Travel to customer sites, working closely with client technology teams to deliver significant business impact
What makes you the right fit for this position?
10+ years of related experience in customer-facing pre-sales, post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles, with a focus on Cloud Native and Data Lakes. Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of designing and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions, including troubleshooting and optimizing performance, security, and deployments.
Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their Kubernetes offerings, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong background in big data technologies such as Hive, Kafka, Airflow, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Proficient in Python or Java, with experience in coding, documenting solutions, and using white-boarding techniques.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)) are a plus.
Strong Data Engineering and Data Quality expertise, including Spark.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working directly with clients, including conflict resolution and managing expectations.
