ClinChoice is searching for a Real World Data Analytics Programmer/Analyst Consultant to join one of our clients.

General Summary: The Real World Analytics (RWA) Analyst performs the execution of statistical analysis plans for observational research conducted by the RWE, GPS, and/or other cross-functional stakeholders. The (RWA) Analyst also provides analytic input to patient population selection, medical code search, performs QC as needed and manages workload in support of one or more therapeutic areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Executes on statistical analysis plans. • Checks other analyst’s work to ensure quality. • Evaluate and provide input to database selection, patient population selection and statistical analysis plans. • Support database management and optimization. • Develop tools to improve and automate RWD analytic work. • Develop applications in data visualization and dashboard.
Knowledge and Skills: • 5 years SAS programming experience is required; other programming skills such as, SQL, R, Python, Matlab, html are preferred. • Experience working with large databases is required. Experience working with AWS is preferred. • Knowledge of US healthcare system, health insurance billing data, and electronic medical record data. • Familiarity with data analysis methods, data management, and data visualization. • Skills of data visualization and knowledge of dashboard creation using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, is preferred. • Attention to detail is critical, as is adhering to standards and procedures. • Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills required. • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, fast-paced, diverse, and matrix environment. • Ability to multitask; strong work ethic and a 'can-do' mentality.
Education and Experience: • Advanced degrees in epidemiology, biostatistics, math, data science, or similar disciplines required. • Minimum 2 years of experience working in observational research within the life sciences industry or relevant academic, government, or consulting environment.
